Summer vacation is always an exciting time for me. It's like a breath of fresh air after the busy school year. This summer, I had a chance to experience some new things and spend more time with my family.
One of the highlights of my summer was traveling to a small coastal town with my parents. We stayed in a cozy little inn by the sea. Every morning, I would wake up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore. The air smelled salty and refreshing. During the day, we went swimming in the ocean, building sandcastles on the beach, and exploring the local markets. The food there was delicious too—fresh seafood cooked in simple but flavorful ways.
Another memorable part of my vacation was learning how to ride a bike. My dad taught me in our backyard. At first, it was challenging because I kept falling off, but with practice, I began to feel more confident. By the end of the week, I could ride all around the block without any help! It felt amazing to be independent and free on two wheels.
I also spent a lot of time reading books and watching movies. There were several books that I wanted to finish during the break, so I set aside quiet afternoons just for reading. Some days, I would watch classic films with my mom. She introduced me to old black-and-white movies from her childhood, which I found very interesting.
Of course, no summer would be complete without spending time with friends. We met up at the park or went to each other’s houses to play games and talk about our plans for the future. These moments made me realize how important it is to keep in touch with people who matter most to you.
In short, this summer has been full of fun, learning, and relaxation. It gave me a chance to slow down and enjoy life outside of school routines. As the new term approaches, I know that these experiences will stay with me and make me look forward to the next break!
我的暑假生活
暑假对我来说总是令人兴奋的时光。它像是在忙碌的学年之后的一阵清新空气。今年夏天，我有机会体验一些新事物，并且花更多时间与家人在一起。
这个夏天最让我印象深刻的事情之一是和父母一起去一个小海滨小镇旅行。我们住在海边的一个小旅馆里。每天早上，我都会被海浪拍打海岸的声音唤醒。空气闻起来咸咸的，非常清新。白天的时候，我们去海里游泳，在沙滩上建沙堡，还逛了当地的市场。那里的食物也很美味——新鲜的海鲜以简单但风味十足的方式烹饪。
另一个难忘的部分是我学会了骑自行车。爸爸在我的后院教我。刚开始时很具挑战性，因为我总是摔倒，但经过练习，我开始感到更加自信。到了周末，我已经可以在街区周围自由骑行而不需要任何帮助了！能够独立自在地骑车感觉太棒了。
我还花了很多时间读书和看电影。有几个我想在假期期间完成的书，所以我专门留出了安静的下午用来阅读。有些日子，我会和妈妈一起看老电影。她向我介绍了她小时候的经典黑白电影，我觉得特别有趣。
当然，没有朋友的陪伴，暑假就不完整。我们会约在公园见面或者去彼此家玩各种游戏并讨论未来的计划。这些时刻让我意识到保持与最重要的人联系是多么重要。
简而言之，这个夏天充满了乐趣、学习和放松。它给了我一个机会放慢脚步，享受学校日常之外的生活。随着新学期的到来，我知道这些经历会一直伴随着我，并让我期待下一个假期！
